The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature.
One is that by the very order of things such evils are not demonstrable until they have occurred: at each stage in their onset there is room for doubt and for dispute whether they be real or imaginary. By the same token, they attract little attention in comparison with current troubles, which are both indisputable and pressing: whence the besetting temptation of all politics to concern itself with the immediate present at the expense of the future.
Above all, people are disposed to mistake predicting troubles for causing troubles and even for desiring troubles: "If only," they love to think, "if only people wouldn't talk about it, it probably wouldn't happen."Enoch Powell.
And yet it does...
The atrocity in Manchester this week reminded me of a quite brilliant essay I read at ''Alternative Right'' (I can't find the article) a few years ago in which the author contrasted the safety obsessed Western commercial air flight industry with Western society in general. It is no longer the case that you're more likely to die in an airplane crash than a terror attack, and with good reason.
A typical commercial aircraft is constructed from around 360,000 separate parts, every one of those parts has been created by a professional engineer, every one of those parts has gone through quality control and a litany of tests. Upon assembly the craft itself will be rigorously put through more safety checks and tests, as will the mechanics and maintenance staff. The actual crew, particularly the pilot, will be checked for alcoholism and drug abuse, even his personal life is a matter of concern, is he going through a divorce? is he depressed?.
If a plane has to change route because it doesn't have sufficient fuel or the landing gear does not open as smoothly as it should, then a thorough investigation ensues to find out why, and to rectify the problem in the future. If a plane flies into the side of a mountain the entire process from construction to training of the crew is brought into question, even the manner of the quality control and safety checks themselves will be rethought and questioned.
And so, then, it is fair to say that on Monday night Multicult-Airlines flew straight into the mountain once again. The purpose of the extreme safety measures of the commercial airline industry is to ensure people are not killed, if we apply these same standards to Western society, in this case Britain, then how does it stack up? what have the 'Statesmen' done to 'prevent evils'?.
The investigation which will be underway into the massacre will not be asking if the component parts of the multicultural society are up to scratch, they will not be allowed to question why the society was constructed according to these guidelines, indeed, all but one factor, ensuring the safety of the general public has been filtered out of the equation, the skills and powers of the security services.
An aircraft can actually suffer numerous technical and mechanical failures but still be landed safely by a skilled pilot, but that is the absolute last line of defence against disaster, in modern Britain everything except that last line of defence has been thrown out as a matter of policy, indeed, as a moral imperative!.
According to the Daily Telegraph the world's worst airline is ''Bahamasair'' and they have the catchy slogan of ''We don't just fly there, we live there!''. And that's particularly fitting because so do we, indeed, we were cattle prodded and threatened into boarding.

Of course, Angola airlines, say, have crap airlines because of low IQ and sheer technical and engineering incompetence, but this cannot be argued in defence of the British state. Indeed, viewed from a certain perspective the multicultural society is a marvel of ingenuity, they've facilitated an annual invasion of hundreds of thousands of racially and culturally alien peoples, housed them, fed them and nurtured them, while at the same time covering up massive crimes against the natives and keeping the natives doped up on materialism, Political Correctness and reality TV. It's an astonishing feat! the problem is, it's an absolutely repulsive endeavour. They might be evil treacherous scum, but they aren't stupid.
After the previous terror attack in Britain, which happened all of two months ago, I asked the security services who might be reading this blog to question what and who they were working for. As the investigation into why young English women were blown apart by a nail bomb carries on, I put it to you that this is not down to incompetence, but sabotage, an entire society, a people betrayed and wrecked, purposefully, and with malicious intent.
Any honest investigation would end with the British state itself, with the political class and (((who))) has been removing the deicer from the flaps, who has been tinkering with the constituent components, who has been throwing sand in the gears, who has been emptying the tank of fuel, and who then expects the security services to keep the whole thing falling from the sky.
You may not like what you find, but your women and children are aboard this rusting pile of junk as well...
